The girl watched from outside the window. She had always hated Midnight, and now he's kidnapped the girl she loves. Amy was sickened by the thought of what he'd probably do to her. She cringed. He had started laughing uncontrollably.

The fact that Amy was nineteen and Eclipse was twenty six wasn't a big age gap in Amy's opinion. She honestly didn't care about anything, as long as she could get Eclipse to kiss her. Amy stood back, flapping her wings. Debris flew as she shot through the window, leaving a trail of flames behind her. Midnight snatched Eclipse out of the way and Amy rebounded off of the wall.

"What are you going to do with her, Midnight?" Amy hissed, embers coming from her mouth. Eclipse moved back slightly, feeling uncomfortable. Amy knew she hated fire.
"What are you talking about?" A wide grin spread across his face. Amy quickly threw a fireball at him and he caught it in his hand, snuffing it out.
"I see you still haven't improved." He scoffed.
Amy burst into flames and Eclipse whimpered, quickly stepping back some more. The two rivals were going to fight. Amy had her palms facing him and two beams of fire shot out of them, hitting him in the chest. He grunted, using his telekinetic powers to send it back at her. Amy was flung off of her feet as Midnight healed his burn wounds.

He tilted his head mockingly. "As I said."
Amy seized the moment to escape. She wrapped her arms around Eclipse's waist and flew out of the window. Eclipse, not being used to flying, had freaked out.
Amy chuckled. "Calm down, you're safe with me."
They landed on a tall building and Eclipse fell down on her knees, obviously still in shock from flying. "Where are we?" She asked.
"Isn't this the building you come to every morning?"
Eclipse's eyes narrowed. "How do you know?"
Amy sat down, sighing. "I know a lot."
Eclipse smiled. The wind played with both of their hair. Eclipse loved how relaxing it was to be on top of a high building. A thought struck her.

"Why did you come for me?" She asked.
Amy blushed. She opened her mouth to say something when a bird thing flew above them. It landed.
It was a human with bird wings and feet. She did not look happy.
"Amy!" She growled. "What the hell do you think you're doing? You know we superhumans aren't safe out in the open."
Amy sagged.
"And who on Earth is this?" She said, her purple eyes flickering to Eclipse.
"This is Eclipse."
"It's a human."
"She. Her powers were drained from her. She's with the Demigods."
The bird's face lightened up a bit. "I see. Come with us." She flew off.

Amy chuckled. "Ignore Oblivion. She's just grumpy because she was picked on by humans at school for having wings. Her parents even abused her until she ran away."
"I doubt she knows any better." Eclipse said.
Laughing, Amy flapped her wings and flew off with Eclipse. It was the evening and the sun lit up the city of London with an orange glow.
"This is the first time I've seen the sunset for a while." Eclipse said.
Amy smiled lightly. "I usually do more things outside during the sunset than any other part of the day."
The two eventually reached a small house in the middle of a forest about half an hour away from London. Amy swooped inside and released Eclipse.

"Why am I here?" She asked.
Oblivion used telekinesis to pour liquids into a cauldron as she had no hands. She stirred it, the substance turning purple.
"Amy." She said. "Sort the rest of this out. I need to work on my papers."
Oblivion walked off into a different room and Amy got a bowl. She filled the bowl with the liquid in the cauldron and handed it to Eclipse.
"You'll get your powers back soon if you drink that." She said, arranging desks.
"Are you usually this busy?" Eclipse asked.
"Mm. I'm usually doing paperwork in my room for Oblivion. So I guess this is some time off."
Eclipse nodded slightly.
"I mean, I've never really had a proper education. I was born with wings and my parents abandoned me in a bin. That was when Oblivion found me. She's looked after me ever since. She was too afraid to send me to school so she educated me on spells, magic and superhuman powers. That's basically what some of my paperwork is."
Eclipse didn't reply. She just took a sip from the bowl and listened.
Amy sighed. "Life is hard when you live in a small house in basically nowhere."
"I would have expected it to be." Eclipse said.

After a while, Eclipse had finished the bowl of whatever and had gone outside. She had sat in a tree, watching the sun go down. Many thoughts had raced through her mind at that time. She hadn't been with her friends for two days, but she guessed they were used to her brief disappearances. Amy and Oblivion had offered her to stay for the night and she had gladly accepted. Eclipse jumped down from the tree and walked back to the house, where she was greeted by Oblivion who was freaking out over something.

"Something wrong?" Eclipse asked.
Oblivion's purple eyes flickered to Eclipse. She calmed down. "Not at all. Please excuse my informal behaviour. I might just need to rest."
"That seems to be the best thing to do." Amy said.
Oblivion sighed, looked at Eclipse and then walked off. Amy looked down at her feet.
"We gave you the wrong type of medicine. It'll work as it should do, but its effects will be long and painful." Amy informed her. "You may have to stay for a few more days to avoid confusion at your house."
"I understand. I don't really mind pain as much as I used to." Eclipse said.
Amy smiled sadly.
Ok stop bugging me for the third part now go away.
